My Pets:
I had a total of 15 dogs in my life All rescued from local animal shelter gas chamber, Parking lots left to die, Abused and injured. I treated them as people, access to and from the back yard 24/7, their water bowl and food bowl never empty, access to my bed and lap any time. Sometimes I will sleep on the floor and let them have the bed..Other nights it’s pile on chuck night. I now know where the saying Dog Pile comes from.
I spent about $30,000 in vet bills for my four legged family members. Hardest part was watching them pass on one by one as I held
them to get their shot when they could no longer enjoy live or walk without pain.
It’s a Indian saying that we should treat all living things as our brothers and sisters.
