Unlike most I believe in our nations history , for if we don’t learn from the past it will be repeated. changing history to benefit a few and removal of our civil war monuments and the changing of its history is a path to doom and total failure of our nation. The men who died on both sides for what they believed in should be preserved and respected. too many have gave their lives to what end? to be brushed away and forgotten? for it was their sacrifice is it what made this nation. and I will proudly stand and salute both flags today.
The American Civil War was a civil war in the United States from 1861 to 1865, fought between northern states loyal to the Union and southern states that had seceded from the Union to form the Confederate States of America. To stop their land from being confiscated by tax collectors. the Union was doing the same thing the British tried to do. tell you what you can and can not have and what you can and can not do on your own land. as it is today.
